Over the past few months we’ve been working with our Parisian friends at Versatile Records on a special new project titled Aladdin. Here’s a snippet of the artwork (above) for the debut album and (below) the first 12″ of remixes. Zombie Zombie Plays John Carpenter

Here’s a quick look at a new sleeve we’ve just completed for Zombie Zombie. The EP features five new ZZ interpretations of classic John Carpenter theme tunes, and from what we’ve heard it’s sounding a little bit special to us! Released in September by our good pals in Paris, Versatile Records.

Etienne Jaumet – Night Music

We’ve been working with our friends at Versatile Records on the cover for a new album by Etienne Jaumet (Zombie Zombie). The album is produced by none other than Carl Craig and from the sneak previews I’ve had it’s sounding pretty amazing so far and includes one epic track of over 20min! I don’t think this will be out for a while, but keep an eye out for it when it does! Original cover image by Philippe Lebuman.
We’ve also done a colour version for a vinyl release of remixes from the album, so I’ll stick that up in a separate post.
Versatile 2008 Party – Paris

Last night saw me reluctantly take to the dance floor once again, this time in order to celebrate the launch of the new Versatile Records compilation “Versatile 2008″. Held at La Flèche d’Or in Paris – and hopefully we’ll be back there in January for a big DC Recordings party!
