I attended a 3D screening of the new Disney/Pixar movie Up tonight. I guess as we’d expect by now, the animation and visuals are truly incredible. The story itself goes through all the usual, heart-warming Disney emotions, but it’s really the art of it all that stuck me most. And this isn’t necessarily down to the 3D stuff (which can feel a bit gimmicky in places), I think it will be just as beautiful in 2D, and certainly more comfortable than wearing cheap plastic glasses all the way through.
