I watched A Boy and His Dog for the first time last night, mainly because it stars Don Johnson and I liked the posters. It’s set in 2024 and features Don and his telepathic dog on a quest to get laid – before getting kidnapped by some strange people who want him to impregnate their women folk – all in the wake of World War 4. It’s bonkers, and not always in a good way. Still think the posters are great though.
I’m kinda liking these old Planet of The Apes comics published in the 70s by Power Records. Each one came with a 7″ to accompany the story (“It’s fun to read as you hear”) but more importantly the artwork is also great most of the time. You can still pick these up fairly cheaply (£1 for this one including the 7inch), but if not there’s a very comprehensive online resource here that features down-loadable versions of all the comics and records.
