Here’s a quick peep at our book design for Anna & The Juniper Dog, written by our dear friend and colleague, Geoff Cox. This books marks part two of the Anna trilogy following Anna & The Witch’s Bottle published in 2010. All illustrations by Rohan Daniel Eason. Available now from Black Maps.
We’re absolutely chuffed that our posters for the Black Swan campaign won Best Film Poster at the Screen Awards in London last night. Congratulations to all the other winners on the night.
We feel extremely honoured to have been asked to create a poster for the launch of the Nike MAGs in LA on Thursday. Amongst all the excitement of the release no one was (understandably) looking at the walls – but still, the posters were there, and we’re happy with that! The MAGs that feature in Back To the Future 2 are probably amongst the most anticipated sneaker releases ever, and 1500 pairs have now been made available on eBay. 150 pairs a day for 10 days. Prices are getting crazy but all proceeds will be donated to the Michael J. Fox Foundation to help in the fight against Parkinson’s Disease.
Today we are mostly listening to our old friend (and often enemy) Depth Charge. Our studio wouldn’t exist without him. Some of these tracks are 20 years old. Genius – no question.
We’ve been very happy to collaborate with our chums over at It’s Nice That on a Fixed Wheel project for online retailer ASOS. There are five designers involved (including good folks like Hvass & Hannibal and Siggi Eggertsson), with each one designing a vest, sticker sheet and a one off Fixie from Foffa. Available now exclusively at ASOS.
Over the past few months we’ve been working with our Parisian friends at Versatile Records on a special new project titled Aladdin. Here’s a snippet of the artwork (above) for the debut album and (below) the first 12″ of remixes. Endorsed by the La Boca Sound System and highly recommended for anyone experiencing consistent relationship problems.
