Short but sweet TV ident by illustrator, Heinz Edelmann (Yellow Submarine) for Der Phantastische Film, a TV film show broadcast on German TV station ZDF in the 70’s/80s. I completely missed the news that Edelmann passed away in July earlier this year, so this is a rather belated note of respect from us.
I’ve been watching all the original episodes of V again recently (and the two mini-series!). Still love it as much today as when I first watched it as a kid! Unfortunately I read somewhere there’s a remake on the cards – I don’t need or want that.
The Daleks may get all the love – but there’s been a whole load of lovable Doctor Who baddies over the years. These are all taken from this excellent site again.
Very nice public information film from the UK, featuring a rather pleasing voice-over by Donald Pleasence and a brief appearance by ‘Benny’ from Grange Hill. Many thanks to the Cox-Dorée Institure.
I’ve been watching this beautiful title sequence as part of my research for the next Emperor Machine album. La Séquence du Spectateur was a popular film review show that ran on French TV for 50 years, from 1949 to 1989.
