We’re very happy to have a nice spread in this new publication by Computer Arts, The Book of Inspiration. The book features 45 artists from around the world, including luminaries such as Neville Brody, Hort, Jonathan Barnbrook and Non-Format. In shops now I think.

We’re very chuffed to have a nice feature on La Boca in the current issue of XLR8R Magazine (p.88-95, Issue128). XLR8R have represented for many years so to say we’re honoured is a bit of an understatement! Above is an illustration we’ve created especially for the article.

We’ve designed the cover for the forthcoming issue of our favourite free mag +1 Magazine. Should be in shops around the end of July, and will also include a feature on the relentless battle of La Boca vs DC Recordings (with some awful images of us I suspect!).

Rumplo have just posted up a La Boca feature and a selection of my favourite T’shirts from their site here. If you don’t know, Rumplo is a great site dedicated to the best in T’shirt design from around the world. We’ve been avid viewers for a while so it’s an honour to appear on there!

We were very happy to have a small feature on La Boca in the last issue of Trax Magazine in France. The piece also features interviews with some of our hero’s/friends including Julian House, Non-Format, Smal&Paze and our agent label-mate Douglas Lee.

Flur is a nice, discerning record store over in Lisbon, and they have just posted a little interview with me on their blog here.

I was very honoured to contribute some of my nonsense to the Viewpoint section of Grafik magazine this month (p.90 – issue.170). The topic for debate this month, “Does graphic design have an image problem?“.

I’m very honoured to make a brief appearance in an article on Barney Bubbles in the current issue of Creative Review (January 2009 – p26-27). The article is written by David Knight, and even though I’m talking nonsense in there, it’s good to see Barney finally getting some of the recognition he deserves.
I quite like the cover of this months issue too. Here’s the story of how it came about.

We’re very proud to be featured in the current issue of Computer Arts magazine (Issue 156 – Dec 08 – p34-43). I have contributed much nonsense to an article entitled “The Changing Face of Graphic Design” by Mark Penfold. Apparently La Boca are part of an illustrious bunch who are “shaking up the world of graphic design” (their words not mine!). We also have a nice portfolio section included on the accompanying CD-Rom.
The cover of this issue (top) is a rather nice design by Danish duo Hvass&Hannibal.
