Jason Tozer – Close

Friday, January 16th, 2009

“Close is an exhibition of photographs that show us a world our eyes cannot see.”

I attended the opening of the new Jason Tozer exhibition at The Print Space last night. There are some very nice examples of macro photography in the show, my favourites being the close-ups of soldering iron. It’s now open until 10th Feb, and is worth popping in to if you’re in the area.

There’s an insightful article on the Creative Review blog outlining how Jason creates his images.

Alan Aldridge – Design Museum

Saturday, November 29th, 2008

I finally managed to pop in to the Alan Aldridge exhibition at the Design Museum today. There are some very tasty pieces on show, including a few gems that were new to me. Very interesting to see the early work shown alongside new projects currently in development, and the opportunity to see some of the animation projects in detail.

Certainly worth a visit if you’re a fan!

10 Days Off Festival, Ghent

Friday, August 1st, 2008

We have just arrived back from Ghent where we were taking part in a special event at the S.M.A.K. Museum of Modern Art sponsored by Eastpak. We were very proud to have eight La Boca prints displayed in the main museum building and also 70 customised Eastpak CD wallets that we painted ‘live’ on the day during performances by The Emperor Machine and The Oscillation. Once again the event was accompanied by an excellent video installation by from Antwerp.
